Prime Minister Robinah Nabbanja said President Museveni had directed the African Development Bank to release immediately the Shs102 billion financing for upgrading hotels in Bunyoro ahead of AFCON 2027. This followed complaints from the Bunyoro Hotel Owners Association that the money announced earlier in the year had not been released, leaving some owners to fund works themselves.
