Museveni directs PDM and SACCO leaders to stop demanding collateral from beneficiaries

According to the Daily Monitor, President Yoweri Museveni directed Parish Development Model leaders and SACCO officials to stop requiring collateral, particularly from young people, before releasing PDM funds. He gave the directive during a meeting with Kigezi sub-region journalists at Irenga State Lodge, responding to a journalist's question about youth being excluded from the funds.
