According to unnamed government sources cited by ChimpReports, President Museveni directed Head of Public Service Lucy Nakyobe Mbonye to schedule the swearing-in of Adonia Ayebare as Minister of Foreign Affairs and Shartsi Kutesa Musherure as Minister of State for Microfinance after they completed renouncing their US citizenship. Their swearing-in had been held back after Parliament's Appointments Committee advised that foreign citizenship be renounced first; a ceremony planned for 23 July was postponed.
