Museveni proposes flat-rate cattle compensation for northern Uganda at Alebtong and Otuke rallies

At campaign rallies in Alebtong and Otuke, NRM presidential candidate Yoweri Museveni said he had proposed compensating households in northern Uganda for lost cattle with a flat five cows each, and had urged government to begin planning it, The Independent reported. He said Teso and Lango leaders supported the idea and he awaited feedback from Acholi.
