Museveni says NRM CEC will revisit Among-Tayebwa endorsement at Kyankwazi caucus; Among and Mao trade words

At the NRM Parliamentary Caucus retreat in Kyankwazi District, President Museveni said the party's Central Executive Committee would review its February recommendation endorsing Speaker Anita Among and Deputy Speaker Thomas Tayebwa for another term, and weigh all Speakership candidates. According to the Daily Monitor, Among and Speakership candidate Norbert Mao then exchanged public remarks over whether a cooperating party should contest the Speakership.
