Museveni tells NRM caucus government will act on health worker absenteeism and medicine shortages

According to ChimpReports, President Museveni told the NRM Parliamentary Caucus at Speke Resort Munyonyo that government would investigate whether medicine shortages in public health facilities stemmed from theft or inadequate supply, and that health workers who do not report for duty would be replaced by unemployed young professionals. He said the matter would be discussed by Cabinet.
