Museveni welcomes Chinese developer's plan for a second industrial park after Rwakitura meeting

President Museveni and First Lady Janet Museveni met a delegation led by Lucy Zhang, CEO of the developer of the China-Uganda Mbale Industrial Park, at Rwakitura. According to the Nile Post, the delegation briefed the President on the Mbale park and announced plans for another industrial park at a new location. Museveni said on X that he welcomed the plan and promised government support.
