Nation Media Group Uganda announces resumption of operations after month-long government-ordered shutdown

Nation Media Group Uganda chairman Joe Muganda announced that its television, print, radio and digital services would be restored in phases, ending a closure of about a month, ChimpReports reported. The reopening followed talks between the company's shareholders, including incoming majority shareholder Rostam Aziz, and senior government figures; neither side disclosed what was agreed.
