The National Lotteries and Gaming Regulatory Board launched a five-year Strategic Plan alongside Service Delivery Standards and a Client Charter, with Finance Minister Henry Musasizi presiding. According to The Independent, the plan focuses on raising gaming revenue, curbing illegal gaming, promoting responsible gaming and strengthening institutional governance. The Board said 4,400 illegal gaming machines were confiscated during FY2025/26.
