Election Related Single source Uganda (national) 8 Dec 2025 Severity: 1/5

The National Peasants Party criticised a directive by Electoral Commission chairperson Justice Simon Byabakama that voters should leave polling stations after casting their ballots, calling it unlawful, according to Nile Post. Byabakama had said crowding could pressure polling officials and compromise security; NPP presidential candidate Robert Kasibante said the party would resist limits on voter participation, and the party launched a campaign slogan urging supporters to protect their vote.

A national event, not tied to one district.
