NRM candidates win all LC V chairperson seats in Tooro Sub-region

According to The Independent, NRM candidates won every district LC V chairperson race in the Tooro Sub-region in the local government elections held on Thursday, mostly against independent candidates. Reported winners include Kimome Ruben Araali in Kabarole, Etyen Muhumuza in Ntoroko (who defeated the incumbent), Gilbert Rubaihayo in Kyenjojo and Joseph Karungi in Kamwenge, while Efrance Kenyonyozi was declared unopposed in Kitagwenda.
