NRM Secretary General announces 12 May presidential swearing-in day as public holiday

NRM Secretary General Richard Todwong told journalists at the Uganda Media Centre in Kampala that 12 May, the day of President-elect Yoweri Museveni's swearing-in at Kololo, would be a public holiday. The Daily Monitor noted that abrupt public holidays are normally announced by the Public Service ministry.
