The NRM Election Disputes Tribunal, chaired by John Musiime, nullified Jacqueline Mbabazi's election as party flag bearer for the Western Region older persons MP seat and ordered a fresh poll within 14 days. According to The Observer, the review petition by Patrick Kyamukate Mutabwire showed 430 votes recorded against 364 eligible voters, duplicate and deceased voters on the register; the tribunal declined his request to be declared winner.
