NUP submits presidential nomination support signatures to Electoral Commission

The National Unity Platform, led by Secretary General David Lewis Rubongoya, returned its presidential aspirant support forms to the Electoral Commission, according to the Daily Monitor. Rubongoya said the party gathered about 200,000 signatures from all 126 districts, and alleged that security forces had intimidated party supporters in areas such as Isingiro during collection.
