Omoro Woman MP Catherine Lamwaka announces bid for Deputy Speaker of the 12th Parliament

Omoro District Woman MP Catherine Lamwaka of the NRM told the Daily Monitor she intends to contest for Deputy Speaker of the 12th Parliament, citing the loss her area suffered with the death of former Speaker Jacob Oulanyah. She said she would abide by any decision of NRM party organs. According to the paper, other NRM members including Lilian Aber, Jane Ruth Aceng and Robinah Rwakoojo are also seeking the position.
