Police block CMP presidential candidate Mubarak Munyagwa from Pallisa town centre and detain him

Police in Pallisa District stopped Common Man's Party presidential flag bearer Mubarak Munyagwa from entering the town centre, according to Nile Post. Eyewitnesses said officers detained him after a scuffle between police and his supporters and drove him to Karaki Primary School playground, after which he called off his activities in the district. Munyagwa accused police and the Electoral Commission of bias; police had not commented.
