Police officer shoots and injures two people, then dies, at Freedom City on Entebbe Road

According to the Daily Monitor, a police officer shot and wounded a 23-year-old woman and a private security guard at Freedom City on Entebbe Road, then turned the gun on himself and died at the scene. Kampala Metropolitan Police deputy spokesperson Luke Owoyesigyire said early findings suggest a link to a past relationship between the officer and the woman, and that an AK-47 rifle and ammunition were recovered.
