President Museveni announced an 83-member executive, including the vice president, prime minister, Cabinet ministers and ministers of state, pending vetting by Parliament's Appointments Committee; Jessica Alupo and Robinah Nabbanja were retained. A Daily Monitor analysis found Buganda received the most posts (21). PLU secretary general Daudi Kabanda said the Cabinet was not balanced, and CCG's Sarah Bireete criticised its size.
