President Museveni assents to eight laws, State House announces

According to URN, reported by The Independent, State House announced that President Museveni had assented to eight laws, among them the National Drug and Health Products Authority Act, the Energy Efficiency and Conservation Act, the Employment (Amendment) Act and the Magistrates Courts (Amendment) Act. The outlet says two of the laws stem from the government's agency rationalisation (RAPEX) policy, including the repeal of the Non-Performing Assets Recovery Trust.
