President Museveni directs arrest of all involved in fraud scam linked to government programmes

According to ChimpReports, President Yoweri Museveni met victims of a scam in which they lost billions of shillings in the name of benefiting from government programmes, and directed that everyone involved be arrested. The State House Anti-Corruption Unit, which arranged the meeting, has named a Skilling Uganda coordinator, a presidential advisor and a city pastor among the officials it links to the scheme; a pastor at the centre of the scam had earlier been arrested and remanded.
