President Museveni says at Busoga rally his directive abolishing 5 percent sugarcane deduction stands

The Daily Monitor reports that President Museveni told a campaign rally on 19 November that his directive abolishing the 5 percent deduction on sugarcane deliveries remains in force. The statement came as farmers in Busoga complained that millers were still applying the deduction.
