Principal Judge stays execution of High Court judgment ordering DTB to return Ham Enterprises' securities

ChimpReports reports that Principal Judge Flavian Zeija granted Diamond Trust Bank (DTB) a stay of execution of a Commercial Division judgment by Justice Henry Peter Adonyo, which had ordered the bank to return mortgages surrendered by Ham Enterprises. According to the ruling, the status quo should be kept so that the Court of Appeal can decide the bank's appeal without it being rendered pointless.
