Robert Kasibante files Supreme Court petition challenging Museveni's presidential election win

Former presidential candidate Robert Kasibante of the National Peasants' Party petitioned the Supreme Court to annul President Museveni's victory in the 15 January election. According to the Daily Monitor, he alleges widespread irregularities, violence by security forces, voter bribery, misuse of state resources and failures of biometric voter verification kits; the respondents are Museveni, the Electoral Commission and the Attorney General.
