Security agencies arrest man over video calling for violence against NRM supporters, CDF Muhoozi says

Chief of Defence Forces Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba announced on X that security agencies had arrested a man who, in a video circulated before the 15 January elections, allegedly called for violence against NRM supporters. Security officials said the man gave a violent reading of the opposition's 'protest vote' campaign; Muhoozi called him a 'terrorist' and said he would be prosecuted. Authorities had not said whether he had been charged.
