Security forces block NUP delegation from Kyagulanyi's home and arrest lawyer Kakuru Tumusiime

According to NUP Deputy President for the Eastern Region John Baptist Nambeshe, security forces guarding Robert Kyagulanyi's residence turned away a party delegation of lawyers and MPs that had come to check on his family and deliver court documents for signature. Nambeshe said lawyer Kakuru Tumusiime was roughed up, handcuffed and put on a police pickup and remained in detention, and that the rest of the delegation was dispersed. He said the Inspector General of Police, Abas Byakagaba, declined their request for access.
