Speaker Among recalls Parliament from adjournment for budget business

Speaker Anita Among said on X that Parliament had been recalled from its adjournment, which began on 30 October 2025 for the election campaigns, to handle urgent business linked to the budget cycle. She said at least one more sitting was expected before year end to receive the National Budget Framework Paper as required by the Public Finance Management Act.
