Speaker of Parliament Jacob Markson Oboth directed the Auditor General to audit the International Specialised Hospital of Uganda in Lubowa during the plenary sitting, after Leader of Opposition Joel Ssenyonyi raised delays and MPs' lack of access to the site. Mr Ssenyonyi said about Shs1.5 trillion had been put into the project, last audited in 2022. Government Chief Whip Jane Ruth Aceng acknowledged delays but said the hospital was nearly 70 percent complete.
