Speaker Oboth and Pakistan's Speaker Sadiq agree to deepen parliamentary cooperation at CPC in Cape Town

Daily Monitor reports that Uganda's Speaker of Parliament Jacob Marksons Oboth met Pakistan's National Assembly Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq at the 69th Commonwealth Parliamentary Conference in Cape Town and called for stronger economic ties. Sadiq proposed a memorandum of understanding between the two parliaments and invited Oboth to Pakistan. The two speakers agreed to follow up the proposals through their foreign affairs and parliamentary structures.
