Students strike at St Aloysius College Nyapea in Zombo, damaging two classroom blocks

Students of St Aloysius College Nyapea went on a rampage over the weekend, citing alleged poor feeding, slow development, corruption at the school and the transfer of a teacher, and destroyed two classroom blocks among other property, according to the Daily Monitor. The school's board, in consultation with the Resident District Commissioner, suspended 350 students of S.2, S.3, S.4 and S.6 for two weeks; the RDC said investigations are ongoing.
