Supreme Court contempt hearing against petitioner Ivan Ssebadduka adjourned to 18 November

Petitioner Ivan Samuel Ssebadduka, summoned by a seven-justice Supreme Court panel to explain why he should not be held in contempt over language used in a dismissed petition, filed a written response that again insulted the justices, according to The Observer. The court registrar, Harriet Ssali Nalukwago, said the matter could not proceed on the hearing day because the Chief Justice and another justice were away for family funerals, and asked Ssebadduka to return on 18 November 2020.
