Justice & Court Rulings Single source Uganda (national) 4 Nov 2020 Severity: 1/5

According to ChimpReports, a Supreme Court panel led by Chief Justice Aliphonse Owiny-Dollo ordered the Attorney General and former Office of the Prime Minister principal accountant Geoffrey Kazinda to file written submissions by 18 November, after the parties were not ready to proceed with the hearing. The appeal challenges a Court of Appeal decision that permanently stayed Kazinda's trial on six charges, including illicit enrichment and forgery.
