TVET Council tells training institutions to register under the TVET Act 2025

At a TVET reforms dissemination workshop in Kampala, TVET Council Executive Director Moses Kasakya said institutions that want to produce TVET-trained graduates must register under the TVET Act, 2025, so the council can inspect their equipment, workshops and trainers. According to the Daily Monitor, the Act came into force in March and sets up an employer-led skilling system.
