The Uganda Communications Commission issued a public notice directing broadcasters, online content providers, internet service providers and digital platforms to stop disseminating the song 'Mukube Paver' and related content, saying a review found it promoted violence. According to ChimpReports, the regulator warned that those who share the song risk fines or up to two years' imprisonment and summoned the singer to appear before it on 16 April 2026.
