UEDCL announces ERA-approved electricity tariffs for October to December 2026

Uganda Electricity Distribution Company Limited (UEDCL) issued a notice to customers setting out end-user electricity tariffs for the fourth quarter of 2026, which it said were approved by the Electricity Regulatory Authority. According to the Daily Monitor, domestic users pay Shs250 per unit for the first 15kWh a month and Shs779.4 per unit for most consumption above that, with separate rates for commercial, industrial and public amenity users.
