Uganda and Oman chambers of commerce sign trade and investment MoU in Muscat

The Daily Monitor reports that the Uganda National Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry signed a memorandum of understanding in Muscat on 12 October 2026 to promote trade and investment between the two countries. The Ugandan delegation was led by Karamagi Alpha Charles of UNCCI; the chambers agreed to facilitate business partnerships, information exchange and trade delegations in sectors including agriculture, tourism and mining.
