UK lifts travel warning for Queen Elizabeth and Semuliki National Parks

The UK Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office said in an update that it no longer advises against all but essential travel to Queen Elizabeth National Park, the area south-west of Kasese town, and Semuliki National Park. The warning had been in place since October 2023. Uganda's tourism operators welcomed the change, according to Nile Post.
