According to The Observer, the US government donated vials of the experimental Ebola antibody treatment MBP134 to Uganda's Ministry of Health, received by State Minister for Health Dr Charles Ayume. US Chargé d'Affaires Mikael Cleverley said the donation reflected US commitment to Uganda's health security; the treatment is supplied for compassionate use amid the Bundibugyo outbreak in the DRC.
