According to The Independent, Chief of Defence Forces Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba and a UPDF delegation toured the Beijing headquarters of China North Industries Group Corporation (NORINCO) and held talks with its president, Chen Defang, on areas of cooperation. The report says NORINCO's leadership described itself as a partner in the UPDF's modernisation.
