UPDF court martial in Fort Portal sentences soldier to 90 years for killing woman and child

The UPDF Mountain Division Court Martial sitting at Muhoti Barracks in Fort Portal convicted Pte Lotukei Paul on two counts of murder and sentenced him to 90 years in prison, ChimpReports reported. The soldier had pleaded not guilty; court chairman Lt Col Felix Nyero said the sentence reflected the gravity of the offence and advised the convict he could appeal within 14 days.
