The Daily Monitor, citing Fox News, reports that US authorities told Kilmar Abrego Garcia his country of removal had been changed from Uganda to Eswatini, after his lawyers said he feared persecution or torture in Uganda. The US letter quoted in the report questioned the credibility of that fear but still changed the destination.
