US Embassy in Uganda condemns deadly violence after Kyagulanyi arrest and calls for restraint

According to the Daily Monitor, the United States Embassy in Uganda said in a tweet that it deplored the violence that had claimed several lives, and urged all parties to renounce violence, reduce tensions and respect fundamental freedoms.
