Works ministry and police run 'Operation Barabara Salaama' road safety checks on Kampala-Masaka Highway

The Ministry of Works and Transport and Uganda Police Force conducted spot checks and enforcement targeting buses, taxis and heavy trucks on the Kampala-Masaka Highway, ChimpReports reported. The ministry said the operation, led by the Commissioner for Transport Regulation and Safety, aimed to curb reckless driving and urged motorists to cooperate.
