Works State Minister Byamukama directs police to impound unroadworthy taxis in Kampala metropolitan area

Minister of State for Works and Transport Fred Byamukama announced that police would begin impounding 14-seater taxis in dangerous mechanical condition across the Kampala metropolitan area from the following Monday. According to URN, he said the aim was to remove old and poorly maintained taxis that endanger passengers and other road users.
