Arua High Court holds scheduling conference in Oguzu petition against Maracha MP Nelson Uhuru

At a pre-hearing conference in the petition by former Maracha County MP Denis Lee Oguzu (FDC) against NRM's Nelson Uhuru and the Electoral Commission over alleged bribery and irregularities in the January 2026 election, Justice Celia Nagawa rejected the petitioner's request to add a police officer as a witness and video evidence, the Daily Monitor reports. She ruled that parties rely on evidence in their affidavits and set the hearing for 21 September.
