ChimpReports reports that businessman Calvin Echodu, the NRM Vice Chairperson for the Eastern Region, was officially nominated to contest the Soroti City West seat in the January 2026 general elections. According to the outlet, he will face incumbent MP Jonathan Ebwalu of the Forum for Democratic Change.
