DP presidential candidate Norbert Mao suspends campaigns over Kyagulanyi detention and violence

Democratic Party presidential candidate Norbert Mao told a press conference in Hoima that he was suspending his campaigns until further notice, The Observer reports. He cited the violence, killings and the arrest of opposition candidates, and called on the Electoral Commission to suspend the 2021 general elections.
