Electoral Commission nominates at least 21 parliamentary candidates in Ntungamo on first nomination day

Nile Post reports that at least 21 parliamentary candidates were nominated at the Electoral Commission offices in Ntungamo District on the first day of a two-day nomination exercise, including NRM, NUP, ANT, PFF and independent candidates. Several former NRM aspirants who lost party primaries were nominated as independents, and some candidates called for peaceful campaigns after tension in the primaries.
