FDC says security personnel abducted its parliamentary candidate Joshua Losur before nomination in Nakapiripirit

FDC Electoral Commission Secretary Augustine Ojobile said security personnel abducted the party's parliamentary candidate, Joshua Losur, on the night of 21 October 2025, hours before his nomination was due, and demanded his release. Karamoja regional police spokesperson Mike Longole said police had received no report of a kidnapping and called the allegation a bid for public sympathy.
