Four Ntungamo Municipality NRM aspirants withdraw from primary re-run, citing excluded cells

Four aspirants for the Ntungamo Municipality parliamentary seat wrote to the NRM national chairperson declining to take part in the party's re-run, ChimpReports reports. They said 13 cells had been left out of the original 17 July primaries and that limiting the process to seven cells made it unfair, calling the re-organised poll 'fraudulent'; the NRM Electoral Commission scheduled the re-run for 8 September 2025.
