High Court in Kiboga sentences prison warder Moses Anguyo to death for killing four people at Kiboga Prisons

Justice Jane Okuo Kajuga of the High Court sitting in Kiboga sentenced prison warder Moses Anguyo to death on four counts of murder after he pleaded guilty to all seven counts, according to the Daily Monitor. The judge described the case as among the 'rarest of the rare', noting that two of the victims were senior prison officers; he also received prison terms for aggravated robbery and threatening violence. His lawyer said he had instructed them to appeal the sentence.
